Weir Farm Art Center,
Wilton, CT in conjunction with
the Housatonic Museum
of Art, Bridgeport, CT
September 12 - November 4, 2005
There were three components to this installation:
1. take digital photographs of the farm, send them to China where they
were painted. A simple outsourcing, and simple comment on how en plein
air painting is a thing of the past like the farm itself.
2. a year long correspondence with a friend. We both grew up in this area
of Connecticut before the McMansion era.
3. a series of etchings based on the farm and its environment.
